Frequently Asked Questions

A thermal drone inspection uses infrared imaging to detect temperature differences across the exterior of your home. These temperature variations can reveal potential heat loss, moisture intrusion, insulation gaps, or other hidden issues that may not be visible to the naked eye.

Thermal imaging can help identify potential heat loss, insulation problems, moisture intrusion, roof issues, and other areas where energy may be escaping from the home. The inspection helps highlight areas that may require further evaluation or maintenance.

No. The inspection is performed entirely from the air using a drone equipped with a thermal imaging camera. This allows us to safely inspect your roof and exterior without walking on the roof or causing any damage.

Most inspections take approximately 1 hour depending on the size of the property and weather conditions. After the inspection is completed, the thermal data is reviewed and compiled into a report.

Inspection reports are typically delivered within 24–48 hours after the inspection. The report includes thermal images along with explanations of the key findings.

In most cases, homeowners do not need to be present as long as the exterior of the property is accessible. However, you are welcome to be present if you would like to discuss the inspection.

Yes. All inspections are performed by an FAA Part 107 certified drone operator and follow federal safety regulations for commercial drone operations.

Weather conditions such as rain, strong winds, or heavy cloud cover may affect drone operations. If necessary, your appointment may be rescheduled to ensure safe and accurate inspection conditions.

You can easily schedule an inspection through the booking page on our website by selecting a time that works for you.
